Lady in the lake... sketchin'.



This is from out artist's challenge... I didn't get very far on it, but it's a start.

That's just a breathaking scene, lighting and colors are top notch. I guessing you are aiming at 'eternal but fading' as the atmosphere?

I like it...though its overly yellow for my taste. When I think of Lady of the Lake/Avalon I picture blue. Why? I dunno. But a fall scene would be nice. I'm intrested to see where you go with this...and yes its been a long time since you posted ;-)

Well, blue = water could be a bit... obvious. And the golden autumn colors carry the atmosphere very well. Autumn reds would probably dominate the scene too much and set a more aggressive mood.

I think gusts of wind carrying leaves could make a great addition to the scene btw.

I just think there is too much gold. Its too bright, not my thing, but again this is my opinion and thats all.
